Dr Kovi Levin

Dr Kovi Levin is a Respiratory and Sleep Disorders Physician, consulting at the NWSC Niddrie. Dr Levin’s clinical interests include:

  • General respiratory
  • Advanced COPD
  • Lung cancer
  • Sleep medicine

Dr Kovi Levin completed his basic physician training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Fitzroy.  His advanced training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine was undertaken at three separate institutions, Western Health in Footscray, The Alfred Hospital in Prahran and again at St Vincent’s Hospital in Fitzroy. This breadth of training granted him exposure to a variety of conditions including advanced lung diseases (including advanced COPD), lung cancer, lung transplantation, interstitial lung diseases and sleep medicine. 

Dr Levin became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians at the end of 2014. 

In Niddrie, Dr Kovi sees patients with all respiratory conditions, with a special interest in COPD, sleep disorders and interstitial lung diseases (including sarcoidosis and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis). Currently, Dr Levin predominantly works at The Alfred Hospital as a Lung Transplantation and Respiratory Medicine physician.
